There is some discomfort with Morpheus 8 treatments. It varies between patients.
We lessen the discomfort by using numbing creams, free ProNox, and skin cooling.
We offer Pro-Nox, a safe nitrous oxide delivery system to relieve any worry and discomfort with this procedure.

Recovery time varies between patients and the body area being treated.
The face and neck areas typically stay red for several days, then fade.
Body treatments typically take longer to recover – up to two weeks. There is no skin peeling at all! Body areas may be “itchy” during healing. Most of our patients feel comfortable returning to work the next day.

For optimal results, arrive well hydrated on the day of treatment.
If possible, arrive with no makeup and without face or neck jewelry. Otherwise, your skin makeup and jewelry may be removed at the med spa prior to treatments.
Wear a comfortable T shirt that exposes the full neck area. If you are coming from work, we have gowns that you may change into.
Before scheduling your appointment, decide if you are adding face, neck or both face and neck.
Let us know if you want to add PRP to your treatment as we will allow more time to collect and process your blood sample.
You will also have the option to add on a LaseMD treatment of the face, neck or both face and neck the same day. This additional treatment will give your skin a glow and actually shortens your recovery time! The add-on cost is less than a separate visit for LaseMD.

SkinPen microneedling creates thousands of microchannels in the skin that are too small to be seen and close within 24 hours.
We generate new younger skin by controlled injury. This is one of the most natural treatments you can select because we are harnessing the ability of your skin to heal in a way that you achieve more collagen and elastin for firmer, smoother skin.
With age the skin thins. Combing with age associated loss of supporting collagen the skin wrinkles and creases, and loses turgor. SkinPen thickens the epidermis which is now full of younger cells, and growth of collagen in the dermis adds firmness and support.
Brown spots that form from excess melanin deposition, often secondary to sun exposure and aging, are broken down by SkinPen and often soften in appearance.
Fine lines and wrinkles improve.

If you have fair skin, you will leave the med spa that day looking like you had a sunburn. This is normal, and fades over several days. People with darker skin tone notice less of the redness.
After several days you may experience light peeling or exfoliation of the skin. This is mild and is easily removed with water and a soft face cloth. The healthier your skin is, the less exfoliation that may occur. You don’t have to peel to know you have received an effective treatment
Your skin will be sensitive to heat and sun, so limit sun exposure and hot weather for several days.
You may repeat SkinPen to the same area in 4 weeks.
During the first couple of days after treatment, your skin is hyper-permeable, meaning that it is receptive to absorbing topical serums that are believed to support collagen and elastin production.

Platelet Rich Plasma is sometimes called “liquid gold” due to its color and the rich benefits stored within.
We are harnessing the power of your own blood platelets. When PRP is applied to the skin, platelets release many beneficial growth factors that will boost the results you receive from either Morpheus or SkinPen microneedling.
We use the FDA approved ProGen PRP system for safety and to deliver you the best possible PRP result possible!

We draw your blood using special PRP tubes, so your platelets don’t clot prematurely, and prepare your PRP sample using a special centrifuge.
Droplets of PRP are then applied to the treatment area, where it is deeply absorbed by the microchannels created.
If you have PRP left over we will massage it into the skin or offer to do micro-injections around the eyes, lips or on the neck.

PRO-NOX
Our solution if you are nervous about discomfort or anxious about a procedure
The Pro-Nox Nitrous Oxide Delivery System empowers you to safely control your pain and anxiety during in office procedures
Pronox delivers a mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen. You have full control of the Pronox - how much is needed, based on how you are feeling. A few puffs every few minutes works beautifully. You will hold the handpiece that delivers the gas mixture, which is activated by your breathing. During the procedure you will remain conscious and in control, but you may experience some amnesia for the visit and treatment.
Pro-Nox wears off quickly. Ten minutes after the procedure is over and you take your last puff of Pro-Nox the effect is fully worn off. You are then safe to drive yourself home and continue on with your day.
Because Morpheus and IPL treatments can be uncomfortable for some patients and can pose a barrier for them to proceed with their desired treatment, we offer ProNox free of charge for those two treatments. For all other treatments we charge a nominal fee of $50 to offset our expenses.
